NEW GALAXY CONQUEST MODE FOR XWA
I have created a new game mode for this fantastic simulator.
It is a kind of sand box conquest of the galaxy mode.
The missions are generated randomly, with support for superbackdrops, bounty hunter missions, you can adjust the difficulty of the missions by adjusting the AI skill in the options section.
You can assemble your fleet and move it between the systems, great battles where you can assign the orders to your fleet.
There is a lot to say but I leave it here for you to experience.
INSTALLATION
Rename your mission directory from your xwa installation to any other name, and copy the mission directory from the data folder instead.
You will be asked to create a pilot, the Galaxy program will do it and once created you must select it in the xwa alliance.
GAME MODE
On the galaxy map your position will be marked in red when creating a campaign (normally you will start at the base).
You must move through the galaxy and conquer all the systems you can.
ONLY ONE RULE
WHEN THE MISSION IS GENERATED YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO PLAY IT ONCE.
ONCE YOU HAVE PLAYED IT YOU MUST CLOSE XW ALLIANCE, OPEN GALAXY AND DO THE COMBAT REPORT.
WHAT IS IMPORTANT HERE IS TO WIN THE WAR, NOT A BATTLE.
If you play a battle more than once, when doing combat report, erroneous data will be read from your pilot file.
The program will get your kills, make the progress, and win medals.
Only a small problem I do not know why when compiling it my windows detects it as a virus, but it is a false positive.
I have made the program with the autohotkey code and apparently it is a common problem when compiling it.
Well I leave the link here.
To load a campaing just click in the name in the top lef corner, or the use the load button, and just select the name
of your campaign in the users folder.

HOW TO PLAY

First open galaxybeta.exe and set the corresponding directories and create a pilot.
Load the pilot that you have created in xwing alliance, and rename the mission directory of your xwing alliance with another name and copy the mission directory of the data folder in s lgar.
The first thing you should do is create a new campaign.
This will create a strategic location in all systems in the galaxy.
In each system a conflict develops and you can see it by selecting the name of the system on the galaxy map.
You will start at your base (your position will be highlighted in red on the galaxy map) and the goal is to try to conquer all possible earthquakes.
In the upper right window all the options of the system you are in are shown.
The FLEET IN option (system name) is where you manage your fleet of ships, slot 1 is the one set by the player (it is the ship that you will see when the mission is generated).

You must first buy a ship in the shipyard and transfer it to your location with the MOV1 button, from your fleet.
To go to a system, select that system on the galaxy map and press the VISIT button of that system, a mission will be created and you will be assigned a station where you dock.
You should find that station and dock there, IF YOU DIED, DONT REPEAT THE MISSION, MAKE COMBAT REPORT AND GENERATE OTHER MISSION. NEVER NEVER REPEAT A MISSION.
GALAXY MAP
in the map of the galaxy there are 67 systems, in each of them a conflict develops.
The dominant faction is represented by the progress bar, this bar increases or decreases according to the results of the battles.
There are 3 states represented by the figures 0, 1 and 2 that represent 3 battles.
To increase or decrease the control of a faction in the system, 2 out of three battles must be won, then the progress bar will increase or decrease according to the result, until a faction is removed from the system.
This happens in all 67 systems every time you make a combat report and you can see the result by pressing the INTELLIGENT REPORT button.
Once you have successfully completed the travel mission and reached the chosen system, you can help your faction control the system.
There are several types of missions:
go to the battle button: It creates a quick mission for you, you can see the objectives to accomplish in the on-board computer of the chosen ship.
You have the option of using your own ships, you will be indicated the type and number of ships that are needed for the mission, you must buy them and transfer them to the system.
Then inside the button My fleet in (system), you can see the requirements and generate the mission with the button go to the batle within My fleet, and a mission will be generated with the chosen fleet.
button BOUNTY HUNTER:
How to play?
You have to hunt down a criminal, the criminal can be in any sector and can take an escort.
Each sector has a system authority, if by mistake you shoot a civilian ship, the system will activate the response and the police will attack you, if this happens try to eliminate it, (you are an outlaw anyway), the same will happen if your enemy harms a civilian, the police will attack him.
There are some hunters that can appear at any time to attack you, so be alert.
Your squad plays a very important role, constantly ordering them to attack or protect you.
For your squad to follow you to the next sector make sure before there is no enemy with the intention of killing you, when all the enemies have been annihilated, order your squad to attack the jump buoy so that they go to it, and when they are at about 2 km or so you order them to ignore the target so they don't shoot and jump to the next system, they will follow you.
If you jump when your squad is fighting they will stay fighting, so make sure to jump when all is quiet because without your squad you can do little.
Well I am Spanish so forgive my English and some expressions of the messages, any comment will be well agreed.
Remember the good thing about this is that each mission is different, the ships, some of the scenery, the spawntimes and I will do a more detailed explanation when I upload it. Mission is played from the family transport, for success you have to return to base.
Well I hope you like it.
Sorry i forgot to say that every time you came to a new sector, you have to inspect the navy communication boy (not the jump one), to know if the target can appear in this sector.

When you do a bounty hunting mission, when making the combat report the battles in the systems are not counted.
You have escort missions, capture and multi-region missions.
all missions are randomly generated from tamplates, then you will never find a similar mission, even the names of the ships are random.
MY FLEET IN button -, there is an option of assigned tactical objectives, this gives you objectives to meet that are generated randomly, and you can give orders to your ships to meet these objectives, and you will need to meet some requirements that the program will give you indicating.
ORDERS
SP - Attack fighters then main target
SPD; Strike fighters then disable primary target
STRIkE attacks main target and then fighters
DISABLE disables primary target
ESCO protects my team's main objective (starships, light transports, heavy transports, station)
ND without order.
You can ALSO indicate the missiles to use.
SB space bom
HR heavy rocket
CM Concussion missile
Torpedo tp
ADM adv concussion missile
ADT adv torpedo
MAGP magnetic pulse
IONP ion pulse
Once you have prepared the fleet with the button OK IM READY the mission will be generated.
Play the mission and then make the combat report.
The mechanics are always the same, fly a mission and do the combat report.
In the menu option you can select the level of difficulty adjusting the skill level of the AI.
IN the training menu you can do training missions to earn credits.
If you have a tactical mission assigned, or a mission where you use your own ships and in the end you decide not to do it, you can cancel it with the CANCEL MISSION button.
Every time you die you will lose the ships used.
You will never fly a mission the same because the missions are modified according to the faction used in combat, the ships are random, the superbacdrops are random, the names of the ships are ramdom etc, etc,
It is very important not to fly a mission 2 times since this will generate erroneous readings when doing the combat report of your kills.
You can use your own missions created in the SKIRMISH section of xwing alliace and use them as templates that the program will use when generating the missions, this is super easy and I will explain it later, but let's build your skirmis in xwing alliance, fly it once, and then copy the temp.tie file from the skirmish directory of the xwing alliance to the limb directory of the Galaxy and rename it to something else.
The mission will then be used as a template where the ships, names, bacdrops will be modified by the program according to the situation, copy the file also in the multir directory so that it can also be used in multi-region missions.
MEDALS AND PROGRESS

Every time you take control of a system you will receive the medal of that system, but you need to have won at least 6 battles in that system, if you travel to another system this count will reset to zero.
You can also increase the military rank, as you gain experience in battle.
