Some updates. I'm dealing with some health issues at the moment and will at some point be undergoing surgery, but until then I'll do what I can (with reasonable effort) to push development forward on this one and hope to complete it towards the end of the year. It also means that I need to push the ISD2 to 2023 but that's the thing with the unforseen, isn't it?

For now, here's a new ingame shot of the current state of ANH version. Possibly the first time I'm showing it in all its glorious detail :)

It look good!

BTW Vince, will it have also a "refitted" variant with the ISD02 sensor array on top of the tower ?

Yes, in fact there is going to be a number of variants:
- Default with Rogue One-style turrets
- Default with ANH-style turrets
- TESB-style with flat sensor array
- Full Throttle with all engines on, as seen in Kenobi series
- Tector-class with closed-up hangar

Edit: Here's the full lineup:

They actually look great

And the fact that you did a Tector Variant make me hope that there will also be a tector variant for the ISD-II when you get there too :p

Err nope. I see no reason why there should be two Tectors.

Ah well, in my headcanon I have the point that there was a Tector-2 variant like there is a ISD-2 variant of the ISD

Progress update: Milestone reached!
Good news all, as of yesterday (very late) evening, the ISD is fully mapped and I can now focus my attention on fleshing out the textures.
In addition I've decided to add another variant o the already expansive roster of object profiles

Along with a matching Skin....
Along with the iconic paint job the Chimaera also features the powerful Octuple Barbette Turrets normally found on an ISD2.

I'm guessing that this is the SW Rebels variant ? (since the Legends version is an ISD2)

It is inded. But don't worry, the Chimaera skin will also be available for the ISD2 once that comes out.

Hello everyone. Thought I'd give you a small update on my status.

The aforementioned surgery has been performed a few days before Halloween. Things have gone well and I am currently recovering. Stitches are to be removed tomorrow and I should be able to return to work next week (mostly working remote anyway). This means I will soon be able to resume work on my various projects, the list of which has grown slightly longer once more, but more on that at a later point.

Glad the surgery looks like it went well. Rest easy and don’t push yourself too hard. We all look forward to your progress, but not at the expense of your health 🙂.
