[B1M4] Battle 1 - Mission 4: Rescue Echo Base Prisoners

I have tried three times, and I get this same result each time.

As soon as the Storm Unit completes its boarding operation, I get a Mission Failed: Cruiser Defiance has been Destroyed.

This is odd, especially since The Defiance isn't even here. I can still hyper back to the Rebel Fleet, Defiance is gone. Storm Unit makes it back and proceeds with the announcement that the prisoners that were captured would like to buy everyone the first round. Mission is still Failed.

I am running the latest Mega pack and Fixpack, Windows 10 PC, Game installed through Steam

I can recreate this. It looks like Defiance has been destroyed and damaged other ships in the area. Why I'm not sure.
But I suspect this could be caused by a ship trying to land and keeps hitting the Defiance.
We'll have to look into it. Thanks for the report.

So the Y-wings hyper back to the Defiance and then crash into it while trying to land! Blow it up fast too.
There's a fix coming very soon for the Defiance. I will see if that corrects the problem.

EDIT: Yes the issue is caused by a current bug in the Defiance opt.
If you can hang on a little longer and we will release a patch.

I did manage to finish the mission - All Tie's had been destroyed, and ATR Storm was getting close to finishing, I headed for the hyper buoy before they finished. Defiance was still there, so I just parked and waited. It took a few minutes, then Storm showed up and I got a mission successful.

Anyone else still having an issue with the Y-Wings not being able to disable the Dreadnaught? I know it's been addressed in a few threads before (such as https://forums.xwaupgrade.com/viewtopic ... 35&t=12730 and https://forums.xwaupgrade.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12662) and I've tried the suggested fixes, but I haven't found a way to make it work. Oddly enough I don't recall having this issue until the most recent patch.

The only change to the mission in Update 1 was the briefing icon.
If you help take the dreadnaughts shields and guns down then it will help the YW.
No future changes are planned for this mission as it's been tested by several members before the release.

For what it's worth I just gave it another shot and was able to complete it. No idea what I was doing wrong before...

There is something bugged with this mission. I have attempted it about 7 times.

only 1 time out of 7 did the Y-wings actually disable the Dreadnaught. The other 6 times, they brought it's shields down, then started diddling about. One time I could have sworn I saw them firing but their lasers not actually reaching the dreadnaught, but I'd have to observe it more to be sure.

Similar problem with ATR Storm Unit. It warps in, then spends 90% of it's time flying around evading instead of attacking the dreadnaught.

Wondering if anybody has found a solution to this? Thanks.
