You can use the Hook that controls Flightgroup colours to change the mission to show whichever you prefer simplyAvarice1987 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 12:15 pmCan i Intsall Both, the Imperial and the New Republic Version?

Yeah, but how can I do that exactly? Do I need the Allied editor for that? Because I have installedAce Antilles wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 12:20 pmYou can use the Hook that controls Flightgroup colours to change the mission to show whichever you prefer simplyAvarice1987 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 12:15 pmCan i Intsall Both, the Imperial and the New Republic Version?

Yes, you need AlliEd. Load the mission, find the ship you want to change, doubleclick it and select a flightgroup color

Or you put this into the mission INI file
Replace * with whichever the fg number is in Allied. I think it starts at 0 and not 1
Code: Select all
[mission_tie]
fg, * markings, 2

This method by the way is only necessary if you want to use a FG color placed after FGs 0-3 (Red 0 /Gold 1 /Blue 2 /Green 3) Otherwise you just select a FG color as GT stated in AlliED.Ace Antilles wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 5:42 pmOr you put this into the mission INI file

If you wanted to use a 5th FG color it'd be. (Obviously increase the number to select consecutive colors)
Code: Select all
[mission_tie]
fg, 4 markings, 2

Or if you want personalized missions without the worry of future updates overwriting them and having to re-edit them again

Even though I know what to do, I remember back in the day when using Allied... Gold and Blue slots were sacred. Gold was for Rebel Alliance and Blue was for Galactic Empire. The other (2) slots was for what was left.It seems the flightgroup color scheme are mixed up, I could me wrong... it's something I noticed....
Edit: Sorry Ace.... didn't see your post
Also Super Star Destroyer looks really great!!
Sincerely, Rogue518

Looks great!
Flight Group number in AlliED starts at 1 on the Datapad bar, but whenever you need to reference a Flight Group in any of the boxes in AlliED or in the [Mission].ini file (Mission Tie Hook), then the Flight Group number starts at 0. This means you need to input 1 less than the number shown on the datapad bar.Ace Antilles wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 5:42 pmOr you put this into the mission INI file

I don't judge tactics. The Battle is the best and only Judge.

There is a comma between * and markings.
Code: Select all
[mission_tie]
fg, *, markings, 2

Thank you guys for your dedication to the XWA Upgrade project all these years and to the humans with majorly impressive skills who joined along the way to help bring this game to where it is.

Wow, this version looks absolutely amazing. I just played the Kothlis mission with the SSD and the level of detail is great.

There are some changes coming to the SSD in our latest Update 5.5!
@Vince T has created a new hangar from the Imperial Star Destroyer II hangar and the actual SSD OPT.
So when you look out the bay door you see the underside of the SSD itself now.
Ace Antilles updated the Hangar map and added a simple New Republic version map.
Available very very soon.
