Oculus Quest 2, no VR mode

I've been trying for 3 days to get this to work, and I can't. At this point, when I load the game I see side by side images, but it isn't actually showing anything in steamvr.

If I load steamVR, it just stays in the default environment and doesn't do anything.

If I stay at the desktop, it just loads with side by side images. I'm not sure what to do to troubleshoot further.

If you're seeing Side-by-side images, then it's not configured properly. Try using the Babu Frik configurator to enable SteamVR, then run SteamVR by itself before running XWA. Make sure SteamVR is reporting that it detects your Oculus before running the game.

I did do both those things. I'll try to do it again tonight.

I completely uninstalled everything and reinstalled from scratch and it started working. It is amazing to re-live these classics with such modern immersion.
