I'll admit, while the new model really look good, i'll still miss the older model (or at least the way the engine are configured on the older models
)

TIE Fighters Cockpits: DTM has completely rebuilt the front displays. This is the panel with dynamic information of speed, missiles and countermeasures etc.
The idea was to hopefully give some of the readouts slightly better visibility in game.
Also the TIE’s have been modified to show the latest in damage and beam effect animations, when targeted by Tractor beam etc.
So if you want some TIE vs TIE beam action now you can see better when it's in your grasp!
TIE Experimentals Updated!
All these TIE’s have new updates from @DTM. Now these drone ships have similar styles to the other TIEs.
They are based off his version of TIE Fighters and have unique looks, HD textures and even little control receiving antennas on top.
So now you can kill drones that look lovely in HD too but it doesn't mean they will go down easy.
The option to fly them in Skirmish has been disabled. We may renable that if DTM creates new Cockpits for them in the future.
They weren't supposed to have Pilots but it was always a little fun to mess about with them.

While we would love to make everything screen accurate, we find that doesn’t always translate well to a fun gaming experience.
@DTM has made more refinements to these Imperial cockpits to try and accomplish both aspects.

TIE Fighter Skins: Also added are new Flightgroup colour skins from @Blazingfirestorm , as used in the TIE Fighter Total Conversion. The existing Skins have been converted to Zip format.

only one thing: the text seem a bit small and can be not easy to read. Is possible increase the size of font ?

Seeing some squadrons influence with those triangle displays, nice.

Not atm. The bigger the resolution you play at the smaller it looks.
Kinda, but it's actually how they should look based on source materials.
Making things work well in VR limits us somewhat
