I took the liberty of un-stickying the various tool-related topicks and consolidate their links iinto a single one. As updates are being posted they'll pop back up anyway so that solves that question.
If there is a new tool coming out, I'll include the thread into this list. If there is a thread I missed or should add, comment here or PM me.

XwaToolsDownloader has proved very useful. Does this always download the most recent version of the program?
One thing that would have been handy JeremyaFr is if the individual readme file actually said what the program did?
I appreciate that these are for the experts and it's hard to make manuals but a brief description or link to the forum page could be useful

Am I doing something wrong or is there something up with the Pilot Editor?
Apologies if this is the wrong location, this is the only place I found it discussed.
edit: Nevermind, appears that I was missing the dll file on my end and you can re-acquire it from a MSFT download (http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... vbvm50.exe)

Just wondering why the XWAUP is providing people with the Screaming Banshee Pilot Editor when it need the visual basic 5 runtime file to run it and are not included with the installation?
You could simply use XWA Piloteer, which doesn't need any other files installed to run it

AlliED should really be added to this list, too, as it's what everyone uses for building/editing missions.

True, but redundancy is usually good for IT stuff.Forceflow wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:58 amAllied ist still available from Troy's page which has been linked to from the download section for quite a while now.WildstarBlue9 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 6:56 pmAlliED should really be added to this list, too, as it's what everyone uses for building/editing missions.
