Also @Vince T has made a blank Assault Transport Skin.
So you can paint it with your own choice of custom colours

No Solo-era Alden Ehrenreich skin?
(I kid. I just rewatched it recently with my wife.)
Great work!

It wasn't a simple option and tbh I didn't think about it!
Hopefully in the future though it would be good to get some Skins on the Falcon itself, and then maybe a "Solo" skin/pilot would be a bonus

The blue paint scheme it had in ROTS could be neat, and wouldn't require any modifications to the model I assume.

Just had a thought: could we eventually see Emon piloting the Andrasta in place of the random Mandalorian we have now? I realize that it might be a bit of extra work for something that not everyone would notice.

Already been discussed and looking into for the future I even tried out a really crap test version lolbrassman2468 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 3:31 pmJust had a thought: could we eventually see Emon piloting the Andrasta in place of the random Mandalorian we have now? He won't wear Mando gear in the final version though.
Plus I have ideas of different options to use in the Sabra or YT1300 too. 2022 will have many new choices hopefully!

That's awesome! I really love all the little details you guys have been putting into the mod; they really add to the immersion of the game.

For the face, I would say to model it on this guy :Ace Antilles wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 3:39 pmPlus I have ideas of different options to use in the Sabra or YT1300 too. 2022 will have many new choices hopefully!

I'd like to see Emon modeled after Chris O'Dowd, specifically his IT Crowd style. Either way, Emon is an Irishman... for some inexplicable reason.
Apparently there is a picture of Emon on Wookieepedia (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Emon_A ... e=Emon.jpg). That picture reminds me of Michael Gross from Tremors.

Since the entire OPT is loaded and only has parts hidden, is it possible to use more than one profile in the same mission (e.g., TIE Interceptor and TIE Royal Interceptor)? I still haven't been able to figure out how to use the mission editors to test myself, but I've been building a Rihkxyrk fighter using Galaxies assets and figured out how to get profiles functional on it and the thought came to mind.

Yes that is possible. You can have two or more versions of the same OPT in a mission.
This screen shows the result of me doodling around with a prototype "under construction" profile for the XQ2 Platform, which didn't make it into the final release. You can see the regular model in the background.
Not entirely sure but I think you can go as far as apply different profiles to singular ships within a flightgroup, haven't tested that yet, tho.

I'm guessing that TFTC will look into using that profile

So what would be the possibility of setting up skins and profiles for the different versions of the Corellian Corvette that have already been modeled? Is it something I could do on my own at home for a mission set to be distributed, or does it need to be done by the XWAUP team, both technically and legally?

1 - We encourage people to make new skins for opts. That's why we have shared details of how and various templates to mess with.
The XWAU team are so busy with life and everything else we aren't creating new skins for every old opt.
2 - If it's for your own use we have no issues. We would love if you shared the skins here for all to see and use or even be included in the XWAU.
If it's a profile then it would be interesting to see what you have done.
3 - If it's for a shipset that you want to release we ask you credit the creators and ask them first for permission. Especially if the opt is modified.
All that being said I suppose this is as good a time as any to show off a future release.
I've spent a long time modifying the current Corvette models and added some bonus Skins from Driftwood.
On top of the 4 current FG colours there will be 6 additional skins coming. Including a Void one that can be used to make new skins.
Also with a lot of time, trial and error, I've altered the 7 Corvette versions to be merged using Profiles into 1 Opt!
You will still be able to make one the default using Babu Frik if you wanted to.
There's still a lot of work to do in converting the missions for these new profiles.
It should all be ready for a future 2022 release which has no date at present.

In Update 5.5 the X-wing will get some changes.
Instead of having 3 Opt variations there will only be 1 and it will make use of Skins and Profiles.
So instead of an individual Opt and FG colours the Red Squadron options will be available as Skins.

Sweet. Yellow seems a tad saturated on X-wings and needs more dirt/weathering. Great work.

Escort Transport profiles from @Vince T turn the ship into the Modified Escort Transport, for remote TIE control.
