Hi Guys,

First I have to say thank you for all the hard work.
XWA now looks and plays better than ever.
I really appreciate it very much.

I think I find a bug with my mouse.
There is something wrong with it when I using steamvr.
It can not reach most lower middle part of the screen.

For example in the main menu screen, I can not reach "view credits", "view cutscenes", "return to game" and "exit to windows".
so I can not exit to windows using this menu.

This only happens when I play with steamvr on,
when I turn steamvr off with babu frik, the mouse seems to be normal again, since it can get anywhere.

My system is xeon x3470, gtx 1060gb, win10/64 with quest2.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled xwa, and this mouse problem disappears at first.
but after playing for a few times, this bug returns.

Please let me know what is wrong and how to fix this.

@a1adin did you install any beta version? Or are you using the ddraw.dll from te XWAU2020 Update 5? (Or TFTC 1.2, it's the same)

I am using the latest ddraw2.0 from viewtopic.php?f=34&t=13810.
But I have not installed TFTC1.2.

The previous to the latest version had a bug that prevented the bottom a part of the screen to be properly rendered. This may also impact the mouse movement range, according to your report (thanks!)

Try downloading the latest version from the irst post in that thread and test again.

Hi m0rgg and Ace,

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried the latest ddraw2.0.
it seems to fix the mouse bug.

However, now I see two mouse cursors in the game:
one is a small white arrow like in window desktop,
and another one is hand shaped, the correct one in xwa.

why is that?

Are you running in windowed mode? The only instance where I've seen the white arrow cursor while the game is playing is if I'm using a "non-standard" screen setup, like connecting two monitors or running in windowed mode. For SteamVR, I'd suggest you use a single monitor setup running at full screen.

I do not know how to run xwa in windowed mode.
so the answer is no.

anyway, I have tried it again today, and the two mouse cursor is gone.
then I tried the quick skirmish mission.
it seems everything is back to normal,
but wait,
after the skirmish mission, the mouse problem is back.
now my mouse cannot reach the lower middle part again.

so I try to turn steamvr off with babufrik, and mouse is normal again.
then I try to turn steamvr on again,
but I got this error:
xwalib error.png

also I find another bug with steamvr on,
the first time you start the game, the loading time is very fast.
but if you exit xwa and then restart, the game then loads very long, after 2 min there is still black screen.
I have to restart the computer, then the game can start again normally.
but if steamvr is off, there is no problem restarting the game after exiting.
