The E-Wing! Seems to be missing the top cannon (which I thought was silly anyways so I’m happy)

I never understood how that ship was supposed to open its canopy with that big cannon ontop.

So yeah, stuff like this makes me happy :D

the canopy in that shot appears to be open, it looks to slide forwards.

Which if it still had the top cannon would help with that issue.

The top canon appears to be missing - which I'm not totally against because it sucked to fly with that thing hanging over the cockpit.

The fact that we got to see a "screen canon" E-Wing before a Victory class its hilarious

We're getting a Lego set of it too, though it comes bundled with the fighter one of the villains uses.
Still going to pick it up.

Looks like the Astromech is not in an enclosed cockpit anymore, which is interesting. Also, seems to be more closely based on the WEG than Dark Empire designs.

It's also been amusing that the ship's "original" appearance was no much less popular.

TBH I don't know the difference between the two designs but what
Some of the starship depictions in DE are pretty stylized and kinda wonky and unrealistic (Looking at you, Star Destroyers)

The nose is very different, much less like the X-wing with two torpedo launches either side of the nose cone.

Saxman really loved it.
