Jumping into the latest patch it seems that I am unable to create a new player through the launcher pilot options. When I click the "create new player" button it claims "New Player Selected" instead displaying the naming dialog. Also, I see that there is a Create New Player entry in the Player Name list, which I am not sure is related to the issue or not.
Is this a new issue with the launcher?

Just in case anyone else trips up on this, by selecting "Create New Player" the next time you launch the game there is a screen where you input the name of the new pilot. Clearly it has been a long time since I have done this!

Yes, as you have seen, when "Create New Player" is selected, there is no input box from the launcher, but the game will show the create new player screen where you can enter the player name the next time it is launched.
